We may have even sat down together for coffee or a meal. Any of those interactions have been good because they represent us getting closer beyond just connecting on social media, sharing a room at an event or sharing a table during a networking event and hearing the same 30-second speech every month – because in my mind, none of that stuff is really getting us anywhere by themselves. The problem with most of these follow-up conversations is that they're still not enough for my blood to create a relationship that's authentic, strengthens faster and truly benefits us both.I have a burning desire to get to know more about you on a regular basis, as in monthly or quarterly. Why? Look, I've done all the groups and all the events. I've connected to thousands of people online and offline. I've filled a contact book. And none of it is designed to naturally push us to grow, deepen our relationships more broadly and become so much smarter about what we want in a genuine way.
